Safety

The Iowa State Trap & Skeet Club provides an extremely safe environment. New shooters undergo a safety briefing by the team advisor prior to shooting and will shoot one round of targets each on the trap range and skeet range under the direct supervision of the advisor, club officer or senior club member as assigned by the club advisor. Additionally, members are required to sign a liability statement and proved emergency health and insurance information before they are allowed to participate in any club shooting.

All members and guest participants are required to have either:  Completed an Iowa Hunter's Education course, or similar state required course, OR a valid Hunting License, OR completed a DNR Hunter's Education Instructor's Safety briefing.

Range rules are strictly enforced at both practice and competitions.
The ISU Trap and Skeet Club is Partially Funded by The Government of the Student Body (GSB).
